The Edo State Social Investment Programme is aimed at providing and promoting livelihoods, economic opportunities and sustenance for poor and vulnerable persons through social protection platforms.

The Social Investment Programme consists of the following sub prorgammes;

Job creation and Youth Employment A.K.A N-Power
Conditional Cash Transfer Programme (monthly N5,000 transfers to poor and vulnerable households)
Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (loans for petty traders, farmers, market women, artisans, enterprising youth)
Home Grown School Feeding Programme (providing one balanced nutritious meal to pupils in public primary schools with Orhionmwon and Uhunmwonde as pilot LGAs)
